Alyssa is a self-taught photographer and content creator who first started blogging in 2011 as a bored University student. After graduating with a BSc. from the University of Alberta, she established New Classics in 2014 – one of Canada’s first slow fashion e-retailers. She ran New Classics for 10 years with her partner, Eric.

Named one of "the 10 best-dressed Canadians" in 2021, Alyssa’s work mostly focuses on fashion and beauty with a sprinkle of interior design, travel and even tech here and there. Her ability to produce high quality video and photo content while telling dynamic stories has landed her partnerships with global clients like CHANEL, Dior, Gucci and Sephora. She has given talks in classrooms, panels and auditoriums, had her work published in magazines, and modelled in national campaigns for MAC and Lady Speedstick.
